Please read the following message for important reminders and guidance about the Gateway purchasing system and Gateway Management Console (GMC) role management application as we approach the Financial Management Modernization (FMM) transition. 

Gateway

  • June 23: Last day to approve invoices and submit/approve low dollar value requisitions and PO’s (less than $10,000)
  • June 24 - July 15: The Gateway procurement system will be unavailable during this time. During the outage, departmental credit cards (FlexCards) should be used for any purchasing needs. 
    • Note: Gateway will be available until June 30 for central office users only to modify/approve requisitions and invoices

Role Management in the GMC

As shared this morning, the GMC will experience downtime from 4-6pm on Monday, June 23. After this outage occurs, current Department Security Administrators will be transitioned to view-only access, and will no longer be able to create new chartstrings or assign additional Gateway role permissions. Additionally, the invoice approver, receiver, shopper, requester, account approver, and department buyer roles will be inactivated in the GMC.
