The Financial Management Modernization (FMM) training program will incorporate a variety of approaches to prepare users for the transition to Oracle Financials Cloud (OFC) and the Common Chart of Accounts (CCOA). FMM training is being led by the Office of Financial Training, a new campus resource dedicated to providing training on all financial systems, policies, and processes, as well as supporting a standardized baseline of financial knowledge among employees with financial responsibilities.
Training Required by June 30
Research Financial Analysts (RFAs)
All training listed as required by 6/30/25 in the RFA learning pathway. Total of 9 courses related to OFC navigation, sponsored award setup and maintenance, post-award processes, Gateway, and FERPA.
Faculty Funds Project Analysts
All training listed as required by 6/30/25 in the Faculty Funds Project Analyst learning pathway. Total of 5 courses related to OFC navigation, faculty funds business processes, and Gateway.

Role Security Administrators (RSAs)
Two required courses: RSA training and IS-3 Electronic Security Policy training.
Recharge Centers
One required course on Income & Recharge Center basics.

Required Gateway training must be completed by July 8
Role-specific training is available in the UC Learning Center for:
- Requestors & Department Analysts
- Approvers (FRU Approvers & Department Invoice Approvers)
- Note: Project Analysts with a Gateway Approver role must complete training by June 30
