As part of the transition to the new Common Chart of Accounts (CCOA) under the Financial Management Modernization (FMM) initiative, Concur Travel & Expense Management and the BCD Travel Portal will experience temporary downtime.
Please review the key cutoff dates and additional guidance below. We urge departments to plan ahead to avoid disruptions to your travel arrangements or reimbursement processing.
Concur
- June 13 at 5pm: Deadline to submit Miscellaneous Direct Payment Request (3rd Party) and Entertainment (EN) Form (3rd Party).
- June 23 at 5pm: Concur access suspended. All expense reports must be approved before this cutoff.
- July 16: Full Concur access resumes with the new CCOA in place.
BCD Travel
- June 23 at 8:30am: Portal access suspended
- July 16 at 8:30am: Access fully restored
Additional Guidance
BCD Travel phone booking will still be available during the blackout period, but only with a UCSB credit card. Please note that booking by phone with an agent will incur higher fees than booking online.
UCSB corporate travel cards will remain active and usable while Concur is offline.
Some departments may have travel occurring while Concur is offline. For these instances, please submit an expense report for expenses purchased before June 23 and label this report as “Part 1.” Once Concur is back online on July 16, submit an expense report for all expenses that occurred during travel that require reimbursements and label the report header with "Part 2."
